W talent is dedicated to helping aspiring models and actors have the best experience possible while developing their careers. In order to understand the business better, it is important for new models to learn the everyday language used in the modeling and acting business.

GO-SEE: an appointment for a model or actor to meet with and interview with clients and prospective clients. Models and actors typically bring their portfolios to showcase their work. Sometimes agencies will arrange the go-sees, but proactive models/actors will usually set these up on their own.

Things to keep in mind:

1. Show up early or on-time.
2. Be polite to everyone, not just to the person you are meeting with.
3. Assume they are extremely busy and keep your "pitch" limited.
4. Have your portfolio-to-go ready.
5. Follow-up. After your meeting, send a thank you note or email.
