W’S NEXT TOP MODEL LAUNCH

We are searching for W’s Next Top Model! On September 2, 2008, W talent will launch the first of three cycles to find W’s Next Top Model. The search is limited to the membership program and those who are enrolled in the W2 classes. Every 12 weeks a winner will be chosen by a panel of W experts. The winner from each cycle will advance to compete in the final competition, when the ultimate winner will be chosen.

Each week, rotating classes of runway and photo-movement, paired with a theme-based challenge will be given to participants. Themes will incorporate real-world modeling experiences tied into adventurous photo-shoots such as: Where the Wild Things Are; Lights, Camera, Action; Are You Afraid of the Dark?; Time for a Change; Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, What’s the Biggest Flaw of All?; Is It In You?; Wardrobe Malfunction; Dance-Writing; Model-Frappe; The Merchant of W; Opposites Attract; and the finale, Hit the Runway or Hit the Road. Sessions will be held every Tuesday at 6pm.

Eligibility: This opportunity is limited to members of W talent. To participate, members must have successfully advanced from W1 level (held each Tuesday from 5pm-6pm). Those who are interested, but have not completed the W1 level, will be eligible to compete in the following cycle beginning in January, April, and July upon W1 level completion. Participation in W’s Next Top Model will not cost members any additional fees.

The winner of each cycle will win a location shoot that includes professional photography, make-up and hair, as well as image consulting. At the end of all three cycles, the ultimate winner will receive a prize package that is comprised of international modeling opportunities, spokes-modeling for W talent, website features, clothing packages, and much more! W’s Panel of Experts include: Brooke Mangum, Modeling Coach; Anne Mangum, Course Director; Elizabeth Wilson, Booking Agent; Melissa McGibbon, Public Relations/Marketing Director; and Matt Van Dyke, Talent Agent.
